NFL Predictions

Picking Spreds: 36-25

Picking Winners: 45-16

Cleveland at Pittsburgh: A 14 point spread?! I know the Browns are bad but there’s two things guaranteed when they play the Steelers. One, there will be at least one fight and two, the game will be close. These teams hate each other and always play tough against one another. Every game the Steelers played this season they find a way to let the other team make it close, or let the other team beat them. Pittsburgh wins but don’t take the spread.

Detroit at Green Bay: Another 14 point spread?! Same thing goes here when these two teams meet as when the Steelers and Browns play. Add the rivalry factor to the fact the Lions are much better this year and this game screams to take the under. Packers win but don’t cover the 14 point spread.

Chicago at Atlanta: The Bears are the least talked about great team in the league but the Falcons may be the best team in the NFL. Atlanta wins at home in the dome and covers the three point spread.

Games Too Close To Call

Houston at Cincinnati: The Bengals consistently win games in the fourth quarter and the Texans are consistently inconsistent. Houston changes week to week from looking like a playoff team to looking like the Raiders.

Baltimore at Minnesota: The Ravens were being talked about as the most complete team in the NFL two weeks ago, but now they’ve lost their last two and go to the Metrodome to face the undefeated Vikings.

Giants at Saints: Game of the week. This might be a preview of the NFC championship game.

Carolina at Tampa Bay: Peeee UUUUU. What a stinker!

Kansas City at Washington: How are there so many terrible teams this year?

St. Louis at Jacksonville: Jack Del Rio needs to win this to keep his ass from feeling too hot.

Arizona at Seattle: A battle of the two most inconsistent teams in the league. I predict lots of mistakes, turnovers, and dropped passes.

Philadelphia at Oakland: This is an easy one to pick, but the Eagles are expected to win by 14. The spread’s too high for me when they’re on the road with a hurt Mcnab.

Tennessee at New England: I have a feeling the Titans will upset the Pats, but I can’t pick them because I’ve lost all the other times I picked Tennessee this year.

Bills at Jets: That New York defense will get a chance to renew their confidence against the Bills, but the way NY’s been playing and this being a big rivalry I can’t pick the Jets to cover the 10 point spread.

Denver at San Diego: This is the perfect chance for the Chargers to get back into contention in the AFC West division race. It’s an even better chance for the Broncos to knock San Diego’s division winning hopes down the drain. Denver is 5-0 and still getting no respect, SD’s picked to win by 3.
