NFL Predictions

Picking Spreads: 38-26

Picking Winners: 48-16

Colts (-13) at Rams: I’ll take Indy to cover the 13 point spread. Way to go out on a limb on this one right?! Well the spread’s high and road games in the NFL are never easy. With that said, Peyton Manning will make it look easy, especially on the turf in St. Louis.

Pats (-15) at Bucs: Usually a 15 point spread would be too high for me to take, but not when it’s the Patriots. Why do people hate New England so much? Because they run up the score and I think they’ll be looking to put on a show for the fans in London. Yea that’s right, this game is being played in London. It’s yet another publicity stunt that the NFL doesn’t need to try.

Falcons (+4) at Cowboys: Give me Atlanta winning the game. The Cowboys are picked to win by four somehow, I guess it’s because they’re at home. Atlanta’s balanced offense will dominate the soft Dallas defense.

Eagles (-7) at Redskins: I’m calling it right now! Washington is winning this game. All that press coverage about how bad the Redskins are this year and how Jim Zorn doesn’t know what he’s doing will quiet down after they make Philadelphia look foolish. Philly will come out running more this week after their unbalanced performance last week and that will play right into the Redskins’ defensive scheme giving them confidence in the limelight on Monday Night Football. Blitz blitz blitz McNab until he becomes Dizzy Donovan from being flung and spun around so much. Washington’s offense won’t look great with the new play calling, but it will do just enough to win.

Games I’m Not Picking

San Diego (-5) at Kansas City: The Chargers should win but they’re playing soft and Kansas City is one of the toughest places to play in the league.

Chicago (+1) at Cincinnati: This will come down to Cutler vs. Palmer in the fourth quarter. Whoever doesn’t make the big mistake at the end will win.

Green Bay ( -9) at Cleveland: The Charlie Browns could play good at home, maybe. They used to, sometimes.

Minnesota (+4) at Pittsburgh: Two Hall of Fame quarterbacks in action. Both teams have played great in the first half and let teams back in it towards the end of the game. Whichever team can put a complete game together comes out on top.

49ers (+3) at Texans: The battle of the inconsistents.

Jets (-6) at Raiders: Sanchez returns to Cali so there will be better weather for him to throw in, however I have a feeling Oakland will put together a win I’m just not willing to put my confidence in the Raiders.

Bills (+7) at Panthers: Two bad teams that have talent to be much better. I could see Buffalo winning this game or making it close, but you never know with the Bills.

Saints (-6) at Dolphins: Miami will try to run the ball down NO’s throats to keep the Saints offense off the field. It didn’t work against the Colts but it’s the only chance the Dolphins have at winning.

Cardinals(+7) at Giants: Arizona’s playing much better but tend to not show up some weeks. The Giants asses still might be red after that spanking the Saints gave them last week and they’re looking to rebound.
