NFL Week 1 Recap

My Spread Results: 10-6

My Winner Results: 12-4

Titans at Steelers; Steelers got their revenge, but their running game was absent. Pittsburgh better pick that up or teams will focus on blitzing Ben who takes too many sacks as it is.

Cowboys at Bucs; Looks like it's going to be a long year in Tampa. The Cowboys offense looked great both running and passing. Let's see what they can do when they face a real NFL team, not one with a rookie head coach with a bunch of should be back ups and free agents. The only positive thing Tampa has is their Cadillac.

Vikings at Browns; Favre doesn't throw much, only when needed, and gives AP and Chester Taylor the ball all game. Let the defense do their part, shutting down the run and containing the pass. Sounds like a winning combination in Minnesota to me.

Lions at Saints; Drew Brees for MVP? Could be, but let's not jump to any conclusions, they did play the Lions.

Chiefs at Ravens; Baltimore's offense improved even more than I thought. If Pittsburgh doesn't figure out their running game the Ravens could steal the AFC North championship back because Baltimore looks like a deep, complete team.

Jets at Texans; Stop focusing on the rookie quarterback. The Jets have one of the top defenses in the league!

Dolphins at Falcons; It's going to be a tough year for those Phins with that schedule they face, especially when they have a weak offense. Atlanta will get past the first round of the play offs this year, mark my words. Not only is the offense highly skilled but their defense is underrated as well.

Broncos at Bengals; The most exciting game of the week. It will be the most exciting game for each of these teams this year because they both stink.

Jaguars at Colts; Indy's offense looked a little rusty, well except for Reggie Wayne. I think he'll be an MVP candidate this year and be in the top five in receptions. The Colts defense isn't very good so don't look for the Jags to do much this year if they could only put up 12. This was Jacksonville's chance to steal a game.

Redskins at Giants; Jason Campbell started off shaky but picked it up throughout the game. The Redskins season lies in his reliability. Giants have some giant talent. Barely got the spread right on this one.

Rams at Seahawks; Rams that bad or Seahawks that good? It's a little bit of both.

49ers at Cardinals; Arizona's right back to their old ways. They play with no heart until it counts and when the game's on the line sometimes turning it on isn't enough. Their Super Bowl run was a fluke. No defense equals no playoffs, but give the 49ers some credit they played hard and deserved the win.

Bears at Packers; Who needs Favre? Not Green Bay. Who needs Brian Urlacher? Well, Chicago does...big loss.

Bills at Patriots; I knew the Bills couldn't hold onto that lead. They never can on Monday Night Football. Looks like the Brady Bunch is back. Brady to Moss equals Montana to Rice.

Chargers at Raiders; San Diego almost blew it again early in the season. I don't know why they can't start a season off solid ever. Maybe they need a new training camp regiment. That and LT needs to back up his words when he says he's better than AP. 55 yards 1 TD or 180 yards and 3 TD's, which is better?

Expect all the offenses, especially the passing games, to look better in Week 2. Timing routes take some timing to get down.
